Effective Date: July 21, 2025

Last Updated: July 21, 2025

1. Purpose & Scope

This Editorial Policy (“Policy”) explains how content is created, labeled, edited, and maintained on ServiceBusinessMagazine.com (“Site”). It applies to every form of content—including text, images, audio, video, sponsored features, affiliate links, newsletters, and social-media posts—published by Jungle Haus LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”).

2. Mission Statement

We publish practical, real-world insights for tradespeople and service-based business owners. Our goal is to deliver actionable, relevant, and plain-language information while sustaining the Site through ethical advertising, affiliate partnerships, and sponsored content.

3. Ownership & Independence

The Site is wholly owned and operated by Jungle Haus LLC. Editorial decisions are made by Company staff or approved contractors. Advertisers, sponsors, and affiliate partners may supply material but have no authority to dictate editorial conclusions or guarantee favorable coverage.

4. Content Categories & Labeling Category

We publish four distinct content types, each with its own disclosure language:

  • Pure Editorial
    • Label: none (standard article)
    • Description: Created without compensation from the subject or any sponsor.

  • Sponsored Feature
    • Label: “Sponsored Feature,” “Paid Placement,” or a substantially similar tag placed at the top of the article.
    • Description: A business pays a fee for the feature; our editors review the text for clarity and readability, but we do not independently verify every claim.

  • Affiliate Links
    • Label: Inline disclosure in the article (e.g., “This post contains affiliate links”) and a site-wide notice in our Affiliate Disclosure.
    • Description: We may earn a commission if you purchase through these links.

  • House Ads
    • Label: Contextual tagline such as “From Service Business Magazine.”
    • Description: Promotes Company-owned products, services, or sister brands and is not paid for by an external advertiser.

All paid or incentivized placements are clearly disclosed in compliance with FTC guidelines.

5. Editorial Process

  1. Pitch / Intake.  Ideas originate from staff, contributors, or paying sponsors.
  2. Draft Creation.  Writers may use AI tools for outlines, summaries, or image generation; every draft is reviewed by a human editor.
  3. Editing & Compliance.  Editors check for clarity, readability, keyword integrity, and required disclosures. We do not guarantee the factual accuracy of sponsor-supplied claims but require sponsors to warrant their truthfulness (see Section 7).
  4. Publication.  Content is time-stamped and may be updated or corrected later.

6. Use of AI & Automation

  • We deploy AI or algorithmic tools for:
  • image generation and collage design
  • grammar, summarization, and headline suggestions
  • SEO optimization and metadata

AI outputs are always reviewed and, where necessary, revised or rejected by a qualified editor prior to publication.

7. Contributor & Sponsor Responsibilities

  • Contributors and sponsors must provide information that is truthful, lawful, and non-infringing.
  • They must possess written substantiation for objective claims (e.g., “30 % faster,” “licensed in 3 states”) and supply it within three (3) business days of Company’s request.
  • Jungle Haus LLC reserves the unfettered right to edit, annotate, decline, or remove any submission at any time and for any reason.

8. Corrections, Updates & Removals

  • Corrections: Material factual errors will be corrected promptly and noted in the article.
  • Updates: We may refresh, merge, or archive content for accuracy, SEO, or editorial reasons.
  • Removals: We may de-index or take down content at our sole discretion; no prior notice is required.

9. No Professional Advice

All content is provided “as-is” for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Readers should consult qualified professionals before acting on any information.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jungle Haus LLC disclaims all warranties and will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from reliance on Site content.

11. Third-Party Standards Referenced

  • FTC Guides Concerning Endorsements & Testimonials
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics
  • U.S. Copyright & Fair-Use Doctrine

Referencing these standards does not create a warranty; they serve as guiding frameworks.

12. Policy Changes

We may modify this Policy at any time. Updates become effective when posted, as indicated by the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
